its been a while...

wow, its def been a while since i've been on here. i guess i'll get back into it.! im mos def into the hair thing now sooo follow my other, hairismything.blogspot.com. i gotta get a little bit better with this thing, but i'm trying to wait until i get a new laptop =(. i may do a minor post, maybe about a jewelry haul or something. until then, bee cool =)

spring oh ten: flowery florals ;)

i like to think of myself as being a girly-girl...from the time i realized what wearing a dress feels like up to now. this spring, hi-fashion designers and our favorite retailers are bringing out the floral femininity in all...

the latest trends usually blossom from right there on the catwalk...like chanel iman for christian dior, spring 2010

i also liked this floral romper from Belk.com, 24.99

shoes :)

just like every other girl, i love shopping. normally when i do, i kinda get whats necessary. but in this case...i was feelin these two pairs of shoes:

...so of course, i had to get them. During the Spring/Summer seasons, I really love sandals. Once it actually warms up and stays warm, I will probably do a sandal collection post.

CrAzY beautiful.

Today, I was watching Tyra and it was quite interesting. Featuring Raven Symone and Chris Rock, the subject of today was...HAIR. Chris Rock actually said something interesting: "Women only want to be one thing, and that's to be beautiful." For the most part I agree, because within every one of us, there are often times we find ourselves staring in the mirror picking out flaws, or even better, admiring them. Personally, I see some things that I wouldnt mind "fixing", [naturally, of course], but then again, I like it [my body] just the way it is. Ive been through different phases, from being a size 3,to a size 9, then back to a size 3....from going natural and wearing braids to relaxing and cutting, dying it spicy red...back to my natural brown color, glue ins, sew ins...omg! BUT...this year, I'm ready to embrace my inner beauty more:



this whole year. Starting from January 1, 2010:



--everything natural.

Of course, I love the silky straight look so I'm going to keep getting my relaxer :) but I plan on letting it grow...my ultimate goal is Shoulder Length [SL] by my 21st birthday, 6/29/2010.



I want to GAIN weight, or inches, [whatever]. At least a pant size larger. I'm a size 3 now, but I'm pushing for a size 5, then a size 7.



Clearer skin! i HAVE to develop a skin care regimen to make my skin better, and clearer. Can't wait!



Doing these things will help me get to where I want, "beauty-wise". I'm excited about embarking upon this new journey, so I'll be doing posts every time I want to update, or run across

i havent thought of blogging in a while buuuttt....here i am! so 2009 is coming to a close but, i must admit this was a YEAR. so many exciting things happened, i.e. i got into nursing school, my boyfriend and i celebrated a year of being together, etc. i cant wait to start blogging more about fashion and hair and makeup, though i havent that much this year...it will be something else i can do in my leisure time [ while im not studying :( ]! But...thats it! xoxo Toodles :)
